Squeezy Marmite

In my opinion squeezy marmite is not for true marmiters. They have had to change the consistency to make it squeezable and some of the marmiteness is lost. It will do if there is nothing else available but I personally would not purchase this out of choice. The design of the bottle is cool though

James completely agrees with you. We only buy it when we're over becuase A) the large size B) it weighs less than the glass. It design does look really good though! What's really frustrating is when you're at the end and you can't squeeze the last of it out. That's the good thing about the good old jar.

You have to get the whole of the plastic lid off the squeezy one in order to scrape the last of it out. They should design a lightweight plastic bottle of the traditional marmite for visiting ''foreigners'' ha ha!

How inconsiderate of them! They could also change the label from "Squeeze Me" to "Ship Me"! It's like gold over here, we're paying almost $10 for the smallest jar :-(

Not sure about the consistency (never paid that much attention) but the flavour is definitely different in the squeezy bottle. Glass doesn't taste of anything, so the Marmite flavour is preserved in the traditional glass jars. The squeezy plastic things, on the other hand, lend a plastic hint to the lovely black stuff and completely spoil it IMHO.

Just my 2p worth!

It's Jim, by the way! :-)
